Operations Specialist

Trustar Bank is currently seeking an experienced Operations Specialist responsible for providing high quality customer service. The Operations Specialist provides operational assistance to the deposit operations and treasury management area including but not limited to end user support, new account origination, onboarding and servicing. The Operations Specialist will follow all established policies and procedures of the bank.

Summary of Job Duties:

Monitor and review all Account Maintenance Activity.

Assist with GIL and Bank Reconciliations.

Signature Card Verification/Maintenance.

Assist with Visa Debit Card Maintenance.

Assist with ACH origination files.

Review of online block entries.

Serve as back up to other members of the group.

Provide assistance to other members of the Operations staff.

Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Some college - Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of bank operations or bank branch experience
  • Experience with Jack Henry core strongly preferred
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail is required
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills.
